Project Background & Proposal
Ananda Marga Primary School at Hinjori was established in 1964 to cater to underprivileged rural farming and tribal children who have no access to value-based schooling. It serves as an essential educational anchor for children in nearby rural villages.
Currently, the school is forced to operate from a temporary, rented mud-house structure with thatch roofing. During monsoon periods, it is nearly impossible to conduct regular classes due to leakages, water damage, and unhygienic conditions.
The purchase of a dedicated 1-acre land parcel and construction of a concrete, permanent RCC school building will provide a safe, dry, and beautiful space for over 120 children to learn, grow, and study.
School Curriculum Highlights
- Play-way and joyful learning methods
- Dedicated, ideological and well-trained teachers
- Strong focus on moral character building
- Physical training, yogasanas, meditation, and cultural education
- Balanced synthesis of Eastern subjectivity and Western objectivity
